Dear Facility Team,
There are some major and minor ssues at Deodar Block, can you please make sure they are all taken care of properly at the earliest.Highly Important:- When are we getting permanent Bescom connection?- What is status on Water Softner/WTP? We all know that we are getting the water tankers but how we are ensuring the quality of water supplied to us?- Why all the lifts are not working?- When will be Garbage chute will be ready?- CC Cameras at the entrance/lifts when it will be activated?- What about the Khatha & other docs? When do we get it?- Who is the single point of contact for Deodar (we need one dedicated person/deodar block manager who is accountable for Deodar Issues)- When is the next meeting with All of us to discuss the same, we need regular updates on the issues!Issues:Issue No 1: Deodar Block all the lifts are not working, to add to the misery lifts are used by vendors for their personal use/delivery/transfer etc. including passengers/Residence lift, in the early morning Milk & News Paper vendors holds the lift at every floor until they finish delivering to all the floors, which is not acceptable, since there are many kids have to go school early as well as people heading out to their work early. Also during day time vendors/facility cleaning team are using passenger lift to shift materialsCan you please ensure and dedicate security staff to operate the lift and restrict all the vendors, suppliers etc to use only the service lift and not to use any other lifts. These are brand new, already they are having too many issues due to poor handling and maintenance. As we all know anything related to lifts are directly related to security issue and very expensive, so we have to be extra cautious.Issue No 2: Most of the vendors (bsnl/act/airtel) are installing their cables/Fiber etc through the electrical/cable shaft, during the process they are damaging the existing electrical wires and pipes, can we please ensure this is done properly, this is highly dangerous, most of the people who are trying to do this work are not highly trained or skilled so they are trying to do temp. Job to get their service working, but in long term it will be very hard to maintain and troubleshoot any issues.
Issue No 4: At times there are many people come through the parking lot or backside so there is no record of who is coming in/going out, the entry happens only at the front entrance, this is a security risk as we are a new block.Issue No 4: There are carpenters/others are working late hours & during weekends including Saturday and Sunday - since many people have moved in can we please stick to the timing and can security make sure and enforce the same?Issue No 5: Most of the floor common chute area used as toilets by security team/facility/vendors etc. so the whole block stinks like public toilet and the cleaning is not done properly and there is no supervisor to ensure the cleaning. I have spoken to the security team and the maintenance team they are pointing at each other.My fellow residents please add to the list your concerns/issues/comments.So my proposal is we are willing to work with you to get some of the issues resolved as a Team, so please arrange for a meeting to take this forward., where ever possible we can help.Best Regards, Kumar.

Today we waited for 15 min at Deodar A block 20th floor to catch normal lift, eventually got service lift so got on to it. At ground floor it stopped with a jerk 10 inches below ground level and doors did not open for 2-3 mins. My 5 year old daughter is frightened and under shock.
Please be very careful while using service lift and if possible avoid it.

Hi, do these issues still exist in Deodar? I booked a flat there today :(. Planning to cancel after reading all the comments.
ReplyDeleteThe khata issue is shocking for such a big builder :(. Also the fact that the BESCOM connection is still not there is scare. So much of hard earned money we put and such piss poor management. And this project has been awarded 😐😐. Don't know who to trust anymore.
As far as I know, these issues still exist. Please talk to some actual homeowners and get their take on the apathy and attitude of SS management.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't make sense to pay such a high premium price and have to deal with such basic day-to-day issues - not worth it.
