Hi all residents,
Again the JCB & trucks were working till late night yesterday.
They resumed work at 3:00 am today morning, made us sleepless.
I tried calling the Project Manager Mohan @ 7022027806 & he did not respond. Sent few text messages, but no respite. When the dumper truck was full at 3:45 am, the truck moved out and JCB stopped for a while, only to resume work after 1 hour, as the truck returned.
As I keyin this note, the JCB continues to create terrible noise. Unable to catch sleep, am sending this note
In the earlier occasions, I had sent a note to their Managing Director as well, but no respite.
Essentially, the builder has no mercy on us, leaving us to suffocate with sleepless nights.
I am sure, the whole of Birch B Block & Juniper block residents would have got affected this time.
Seeking the help of Association members here to pick this battle
We have the following options
a) Serve a legal notice.
b) Catch media attention through a Dharna / protest - Hunger strike.
c) Alternately, the Male members can join for a shirtless protest.
I can facilitate media visit.
I am game for better suggestions if any.
All said, we have to fight our own battles. Looking forward to support from association members / victims to team up and put an end to this chaos. You can count on my support for any actions proposed - both monetarily & physically.
Regards

Seems, the construction team of Greenage has no courtesy / considerations for the occupants.
They were throwing metal objects from heights, concrete trucks were operating in full throttle all through the night.. Just could not sleep at all, yesterday night, in spite of closing all glass doors, bathroom doors & bedroom doors.
Tried sending an escalation mail to the CMD of sattva group on this. As I did not have his email ID, I have tried various combinations. In case, any of you have his email, please do forward my mail to him OR help me with his email ID. Least, he should be informed of the callous attitude of his people, he has empowered.
Earlier also, there were similar noise & dust on account of throwing the debris through steel drums, in wee hours.
Saw a remark on this mail trail, that this is illegal. Can someone help with next steps - Can we send a legal notice on behalf of the occupants?
Or Can there be any other possible actions, to ensure there is NO NOISE on account of construction in the night time, to enable peaceful sleep.
- They may still carry on with other works such as paintings, which do not cause noise.
All I am asking for is, peaceful sleep at night. Pls do suggest the appropriate course of action, such that this doesnot repeat.
Regards
Mani

Still ongoing - last two days there has been a lot of noise even during the night.
I could not figure out where the noise was coming from...sounded like cement mixer at full speed or broken AC labouring to cool a room.
