Completely agree for opening the chute rooms. This is part of the amenities that we paid for, its extremely stupid (with due respect for the motive) to have it shut down. The chute facility was there in our previous complex as well and this was managed much better with simple solution. All you need to do is keep a big bin for dry waste in each chute rooms and wet waste can directly be thrown in the chutes. This way the garbage collectors will also need to just take the dry waste through elevators preventing them becoming filthy. Whats the issue with this?
Wonder who comes with great ideas like these? And who gets them implemented without looking for better alternates?

Dear Facilities,
As I understand you have closed the chute room despite most of the residents were requesting against it and most importantly, without a proper mutually agreed garbage collection system implemented.
This is causing major distress to us,in terms of smell and insects.
Request you to reconsider decision and open the chute rooms. You can keep the chute opening closed and keep coloured bins inside chute rooms.
Dear GOA,
I saw multiple discussions on this topic recently. Please let me know if any joint discussion happened with the facilities team and if so, what was the conclusion.
Thanks
Priyanka
